Born and raised in El Mirage, Arizona, Toni graduated from high school in 1987 with her six-month old Daughter in the audience.....a defining moment that set the stage for a lifelong commitment to perseverance and growth. Despite being told by her high school counselor that she was "not college material," she refused to let that prediction define her future.

As a young, married mother, her first attempt at college was met with challenges, but she never lost sight of the value of education. She returned to college as an adult, determined to rewrite her story. Through hard work and dedication she earned multiple Assoicates degrees, a Bachelor's degree in Communication, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

Since 2001, she has proudly served the Maricopa Community Colleges in multiple roles. She passionately channels her desire to help those seeking a higher education by supporting and empowering students. Education transformed her life and the lives of her two children. She firmly believes in the power of a college degree.....something no one can take away.

Toni aspires to continue growing in leadership and remain committed to lifelong learning....for herself and for those she has had the privilege of serving and supporting in their own educational journey.
